Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Initiation:Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
    Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  2. Project Execution:Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
    Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
    Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
  3. Team Management:Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
    Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
    Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  4. Budget and Resource Management:Manage project budget and resource allocation.
    Track project costs and ensure projects are completed within approved budgets.
  5. Risk Management:Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
    Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  6. Stakeholder Communication:Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
    Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or any related field
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in the industry relevant to the project.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Personal Attributes:

  • Proven ability to lead projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.
  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
  • Ability to defuse tension among project team members, should it arise.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, JIRA, or other project management tools.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools relevant to the project.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel as required by the project.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with contract management and vendor negotiations.
