DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work closely with the Food & Beverage and Retail Department on operational, inventory, and cost-related issues.
· Setting-up cost control systems and categories for each outlet, evaluating recipes submitted by F&B, and pre-costing all items in the menus.
· Monitor processes are in stores, kitchens, and lounge, and inventories properly record and audit.
· Ensuring the preparation of documents related to food and beverage are accurate.
· Preparing daily food and beverage cost reports and allocated correctly to each outlet.
· Analyze the F&B food covers, revenue, and cost reports.
· Ensure control policies and procedures are followed.
· Perform weekly/monthly audits on lounge, kitchens, and store to control inventory variances and make recommendations for weaknesses.
· Achieve budget objectives by monitoring expenditure, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
· Liaise with Accounts Payable on month-end food, beverage, and general items purchase reconciliation.
· Other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
· Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
· Chartered Accountant/ACCA/CIMA preferred
· At least 5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably from F&B or hospitality industry
· Advanced computer skills on MS Office is a MUST
· Able to communication & write Mandarin is a MUST. (Required to do translation from Chinese to English & vice versa.)
· Possess excellent negotiation skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
