Job Description
This is a full-time position as an Air Freight Coordinator for the employer. The role involves coordinating air freight import and export shipments from export freight booking to import shipment customs clearance and final delivery. The Air Freight Coordinator will be responsible for requesting rates with airlines or GSA, communicating with direct clients and overseas partners to cater to their requirements, providing freight quotes, and managing shipments. Additionally, the role includes preparing and processing AWB documentation, monitoring and tracking shipment status, providing updates, and resolving issues. The Coordinator will maintain accurate records of air freight activities, including shipment details, costs, and performance metrics, and collaborate closely with internal teams for seamless operational coordination.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of air freight regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
• Knowledge of handling AOG and DG will be a plus advantage, incentives add on
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and systems.
