- Take history and perform eye examinations on patients
- Operate ophthalmic equipment and perform tests on patients
- Diagnose and advise patients on their visual problems
- Assist ophthalmologist in clinic and during procedures
- Prior experience in ophthalmology an advantage but not absolutely necessary as training will be provided
Requirements
- Diploma in Optometry or higher; OOB registration will be an advantage
- Computer-literate
- Strong communication and patient-relations skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Self-motivated, results-driven
