Key Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded software/firmware for switched-mode power supplies and battery chargers.
- Prepare code for digital control of power supply/charger, housekeeping functions, and communication.
- Adjust and optimize controller parameters to improve power supply performance.
- Work with the hardware team to meet customer requirements.
- Liaise with multiple parties – customer, factory, and internal/external stakeholders for successful product delivery.
- Good communication skills to ensure effective collaboration within a diverse team.
- All experience levels are welcome – job grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements:
- BSc, MSc, or PhD with Min. 5 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of power electronics topologies and design – flyback, boost PFC, LLC, PSFB.
- Ability to perform digital control of power electronics and other housekeeping functions.
- Proficient in C/C++, MATLAB, and Python.
- Experienced in CC/CV mode control.
- Code ancillary functions such as power supply protection, calibration, and timing requirements.
- Comfortable with digital controllers and DSPs from major vendors.
- Basic hardware tests the ability to perform independent debugging.
- Familiar with automotive communication protocols, e.g. CANbus, OCPP.
- Candidates with the below skillsets will be an added advantage:
- Familiar with automatic test systems.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Ability to converse in Mandarin to liaise with HQ.
