Job Description

The Finance and HR Executive / Manager will be responsible for managing the financial health of the company and overseeing all human resources activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of both finance and HR functions.


Key Responsibilities:

Finance:

  • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
  • Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to management and board of directors.
  • Prepare short- and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Manage budgeting, auditing, and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.

HR:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or SHRM/HRCI is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Finance and HR Executive/ Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Thorough understanding of human resource management principles and practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial management software
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
