Job Description
The Finance and HR Executive / Manager will be responsible for managing the financial health of the company and overseeing all human resources activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of both finance and HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance:
- Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
- Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to management and board of directors.
- Prepare short- and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Manage budgeting, auditing, and financial reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
HR:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or SHRM/HRCI is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Finance and HR Executive/ Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Thorough understanding of human resource management principles and practices.
- Proficient in MS Office and financial management software
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
