Job descriptions:
· To perform non-destructive testing of aircraft component including wheels, brakes etc.
· Be qualified as an EN4179/NAS410 Level 2 NDT inspector for eddy current, magnetic particles or fluorescent penetrant method.
· To certify the NDT work done under CAAS or relevant civil aviation regulation and requirements.
· To maintain currency of NDT method and experience.
· To maintain the tool and equipment in good condition.
· To perform daily, weekly, monthly or yearly checklist of the NDT tool and equipment as per the relevant ASTM standard.
· Always maintain good housekeeping and return all tools at the end of each working day.
· Other duties as assigned by the shop in charge.
Requirements:
· EN4179/NAS410 Level 2 in the NDT method.
· Attended the EN4179/NAS410 training at a NDTSS/SNANDTB approved training school.
· Passed the annual visual acuity test.
· Possess a current NDT authorisation certificate issued by the employer.
Documents require for review:
· EN4179/NAS410 Level 2 examination certificates for all the NDT methods
· Level 2 training certificates for all the NDT methods
· Current visual acuity test
· NDT work experience for all the NDT methods
