We are currently seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support one of our client’s projects. This role is a 12 months contract role to start with and has the potential to extend further based on the individual's performance and contributions.
Position Overview:
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for infrastructure provisioning, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and managing security measures. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and a proactive approach to ensure both the security and efficiency of the client's systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Provisioning:Provision and manage infrastructure with a focus on security and system reliability.
Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
- CI/CD Pipeline Optimization:Build, enhance, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
Utilize tools like GitLab and GitHub Actions for pipeline automation.
- Security Management:Integrate security practices into the DevOps workflow to ensure secure development and deployment.
Oversee secure supply chain management to mitigate risks.
- Monitoring and Reporting:Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
Generate and review reports to track system performance and security.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps roles with good exposure to DevOps and Security.
- Proven expertise in infrastructure provisioning and security management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools, including GitLab and GitHub Actions.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Linux and Terraform.
- Strong background in secure supply chain management.
- Knowledge of Python or Go (Golang) is a plus.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana is advantageous.
