Overview
Based at Woodlands, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of bicycles, spare parts or items in Anywheel’s product line. The role ensures productivity targets are met and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the bicycle repair operations within the warehouse
- Ensure efficient and safe operation of all warehouse activities
- Maintain up-to-date records of inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained
- Recruit, train and supervise mechanics, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Setup a new warehouse by sourcing for new locations
- Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures and safety standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations of receiving and delivery of bicycles
- Conduct regular audits of the warehouse to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Travelling may be required between warehouses (Woodlands) and office (Orchard) on different days
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Diploma or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
- Background and knowledge in bicycle repair is advantageous
