Job Description:
The Manager, R&D Process oversees the development and optimization of manufacturing processes within R&D. Responsibilities include managing production conditions, standardizing processes to enhance yield and quality, and setting production parameters for resin handling, plating, circuit formation, and inspection. The role involves leading yield improvement activities, productivity enhancements, material and equipment evaluations, and ensuring compliance with technical standards. Additionally, the manager implements cost-reduction strategies, verifies roadmaps for new materials and designs, handles technical meetings with customers, and drives continuous improvement to support innovation and maintain high-quality standards.

- Develop and execute production plans and schedules aligned with annual operating objectives.
- Oversee and optimize production conditions and settings for various processes and equipment in FCBGA manufacturing.
- Ensure product quality and stability through reducing variations, implementing quality improvements, and standardizing processes.
- Lead productivity improvement activities, including standardization, procedure revisions, and automation.
- Select and evaluate materials and process/inspection equipment, driving cost reduction initiatives and validating roadmaps for new materials.
- Address and resolve issues in technical meetings with customers.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in semiconductor processes or design.
- Skills: Knowledge of semiconductors and customer requirements, experience with CAD/CAM systems, familiarity with measurement, analysis, and reliability tools, and basic understanding of substrate manufacturing.
- Competencies: Attention to detail, strong grasp of customer needs, proven project management abilities, and capability to guide others on company policies and processes.
- Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working globally, and alignment with company values: integrity, passion, proactivity, and creativity.
