Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with expertise in servicing, installing, testing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical parts. The Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, building electrical and perform ad-hoc handyman work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Service, install, test, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical parts and software-related issues, focusing on kitchen equipment and building electrical
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to identify and address any issue or potential problems.
- Perform minor electrical work repairs and rectification to building and equipment and defect rectification works.
- Sourcing of parts and perform repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts to restore functionality.
- Keep records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, parts & equipment inventory.
- Work with contractors and vendors to carry out schedules and supervise work on-premises to ensure quality cost-effective servicing and repairs. (eg. Air-conditioning servicing)
Requirements:
- Diploma/Nitec/Certificate in Engineering or related qualification
- Min 3 Years of mechanical & electrical engineering & building maintenance experience
- Possess a Class 3 or higher driving license.
- Owns a motorcycle is a plus.
- CSOC certification is a plus.
- Able to start work immediately or on short notice is a plus.
