DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
- Creating a wine & beverage list of the restaurant.
- Advising the owner to allocate the budget for beverage glasses and beverage inventory .
- Meeting and greeting customers, organising table reservations.
- To lead, manage and inspire your staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Training and development of all staff about the beverage programme in the restaurant.
- Responding to customer queries and complaints.
- Ensure each customer receives impeccable service.
- Taking customers food orders.
- Delegating tasks and checking their execution.
- Undertake monthly stock takes and overseeing and ordering of stock.
- Recommend and develop a beverage programme together with the General Manager.
THE POSITION REQUIRES
- Relevant work experience in a fine dining establishment.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Adequate beverage knowledge.
- Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills .
- Good presentation and influencing skills.
- Ability to work and thrive within a diverse environment.
