We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hydraulic Engineer with expertise in river and coastal engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing hydraulic systems and projects related to river and coastal environments. This role requires a strong background in hydraulic engineering principles, coupled with practical experience in river and coastal projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis: Develop and analyze hydraulic models for river and coastal systems, including flood control, erosion protection, and water management.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to river and coastal hydraulic engineering, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Technical Assessments: Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses for hydraulic projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, environmental scientists, and planners, to integrate hydraulic solutions into broader project frameworks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local and national regulations, standards, and best practices related to hydraulic engineering and environmental protection.
- Reporting: Prepare and present technical reports, project documentation, and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in hydraulic engineering technologies and methodologies, and apply innovative solutions to complex problems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or higher qualification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in hydraulic engineering with a focus on river and coastal projects.
- Skills:Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software

Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in Singapore.
