We are seeking a highly experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in Singapore. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key client accounts, developing and implementing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and driving business development initiatives with oversight and responsibility over end to end projects' execution to successful completion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in key account management, customer relationship management, and sales strategy. Additionally, engineering operations hands on experience in the process, pharmaceutical and/or construction sector is required as we believe working experience in engineering projects is crucial in order to effectively handle and manage clients.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage and grow key client accounts
- Manage project operation executions (end to end) to achieve client requirement and satisfaction
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
- Drive business development initiatives to expand market reach
- Manage pipeline effectively to ensure timely and successful closure of deals
- Forecast sales and revenue projections accurately
- Upsell additional products or services to existing clients
- Focus on client retention and building long-term relationships
- Utilize engineering design knowledge to provide tailored solutions to clients
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or related field
- 5-8 years of experience as a project engineer handling multiple client projects in pharmaceutical, process or construction sectors
- Minimally 5 years of experience in key account management and business development
- Proven track record of successfully managing key client accounts and exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on-site in Singapore, may be needed for outstation travel where required
