Responsibilities
The role involves supporting the HR Manager in a comprehensive range of HR functions, including but not limited to:
HR Database Management:
- Enter data into the HR database or system to maintain accurate records.
- Provide data for and prepare management information reports and documents.
- Administer and maintain the leave portal and other HR database/systems.
- Develop and maintain the personnel filing system, such as employee P-files.
Staff Benefits:
- Administer staff benefits, programs, insurance, and events.
Payroll:
- Prepare and administer the monthly payroll and payroll reports.
Recruitment, Internship & Traineeship:
- Participate in the recruitment process, including placing advertisements, shortlisting candidates, and conducting onboarding orientation and induction.
- Manage work pass applications for foreign hires, if applicable.
- Administer probationary review periods.
Policies and Procedures:
- Assist in maintaining and developing human resource procedures and policies.
Separation:
- Manage staff exits, including the administration of termination and resignation letters, leave balances, clearances, etc.
Other Duties:
- Cover receptionist and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant HR generalist experience.
- Experience in the legal industry is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable about local labor legislation.
- Proficient in spoken and written English with excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Tertiary qualification, preferably with a professional certificate or diploma in Human Resource Management.
