Job Summary: -
In this role, you will design, develop and provide support for mission critical applications.
As part of this dynamic role, you will work closely with the Engineering Lead, Business Units and other IT teams to deliver leading edge technology to enable digital capabilities.
You will focus on developing best-in-class iOS applications using modern tech stack.
Job Description:
- Build & Deploy products and business solutions to deliver comprehensive digital capabilities.
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand business requirements in a cross-functional team.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions.
- Deliver high-quality, modularised, and scalable code.
- Participate and facilitate technical discussions with team as well as other stakeholders.
- Develops data integration, migration and deployment strategies.
- Build relationships with / between key internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver and support applications in accordance to relevant IT policies and procedures.
Competencies
- Expertise in Apple iOS and Java development platforms and ecosystem with 4+ years (no upper range) in developing mobile application and service-oriented projects.
- Expertise in mobile application and RESTful design principles and best practices
- Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating mobile application with different business systems (ETL, reporting, etc.)
- Understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
- Comfortable with Agile/iterative project management methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills; meticulous & methodical
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Works well across different functions
Technical Skills
- Strong culture on Software Testing (Unit Testing, TDD, XCUI)
- Strong hold on Programming Languages: Objective C and Swift
- Knowledge of Mobile Application Design Patterns and SOLID Principles
- Understanding of Cocoa Pods/Carthage
- Knowledge of RDBMS/SQL
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integration
- Proficient in Git workflow, version control and build pipeline tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps etc.
- Experience and affinity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP/eXtreme Programming)
Working Experience
- More than 4 years in designing and developing Software and supporting applications
- Experience in Agile software development
