Network Administrator

Job description:

• Responsible for day-to-day Operations and administration on IT network & security infrastructure. Perform and provide primary network support roles and responsibilities.
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, load balancers and VPNs, and other associated task.
• Troubleshooting and resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity and related network problems.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades of systems and networks.
• Network Capacity Report Generation and Consolidation.
• Manage network incidents to closure, notify and escalation.
• Monitoring the Perimeter Traffics and network health to ensure optimum performance, reliability and availability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network.

Requirements:

• At least 5 to 8 years’ hands-on technical experience in installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, load balancers and VPNs, and other associated task such as the followings:

1. a) Proxy servers preferably Symantec Bluecoat ProxySG
2. b) Checkpoint & ASA Firewalls Administration, Configuration & Troubleshooting
3. c) Cisco Core Switch Administration, Configuration & Troubleshooting
4. d) Cisco/Dell Hub-Switches Administration, Configuration & Troubleshooting
5. e) RSA Administration
6. f) FortiGate VPN Administration.
7. g) F5 and Fortinet LB Administration, Configuration & Troubleshooting
8. h) Checking of Daily Network Utilization/Monitoring (PRTG)
9. i) Structured Cabling, Routing/switching and data network solutioning i.e. using Cisco, DELL, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Aruba, F5 network equipment.
10. j) VPN Users Issue Troubleshooting.

• In-depth knowledge of network & security technologies / protocols like DNS, LDAP, syslog, NTP, SNMP, SSH, HTTPS, AAA, SMTP, etc.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity and related network problems.
• Significant exposure to ACS+, Radius, and Cisco Access Control System
• Should be familiar with monitoring tools of the network security devices.
• Knowledge on VMware vSphere and NSX
