Regional Security Operations Manager
X is seeking a Regional Security Operations Manager for the Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) region in Singapore. Reporting to the JAPAC Regional Security Manager, this role demands a professional and passionate individual with a deep understanding of regional security requirements and the ability to directly manage a diverse and talented team. The chosen candidate will ensure the alignment of regional and global security practices, delivering industry-leading standards to CorpSec global teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Directly manage a forward-thinking security operations team in the JAPAC region, focusing on achieving key security objectives, prioritizing regional requirements, and managing staff to ensure a world class security program.
- Conduct periodic audits and continually enhance security operations for physical security infrastructure, visitor management, employee safety, security policies and procedure, crisis response training, travel and events security, and vendor operations.
- Coordinate the Regional CorpSec team's weekly activities, meetings, and operational updates, including project progress, incident reports, and analysis.
- Supervise staffing and training for the CorpSec contingent workforce, ensuring all personnel are well-prepared for their roles.
- Monitor and report on regional performance metrics, budgets, and team effectiveness to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage the regional security incident escalation process to ensure timely and effective resolution and reporting.
- Direct the regional information & analysis program, focusing on potential risks to X's operations and personnel.
- Forge strong relationships with local, regional, and global partners to enhance service quality and streamline operations
- Act as the primary liaison for vendor management, performance evaluation, and service delivery in JAPAC
Qualifications:
- 12+ years experience in the security industry and relevant field (military / law enforcement) with associated university degree / professional certificates
- Deep understanding of Corporate Security disciplines, including physical security, security operations, travel security, crisis response, and risk intelligence analysis
- Excellence in managing technical security systems, including CCTV, access control, and security incident management software
- Existing relationships and experience in vendor and project management in the region
Experience in managing multinational teams, resolving complex security situations both on-site and remotely - Exceptional communication, managerial and written skills with a proven track record in leadership roles
- Fluency in English required to collaborate with global stakeholders and preferred proficiency in Mandarin Chinese to liaise with vendors in Mandarin speaking markets across the JAPAC region
