Responsibilities:
- System Administration:Configure, install, and maintain Tableau Server and OBIEE environments.
Monitor system performance, ensure reliability and availability of Tableau Server and OBIEE of services.
Manage user access and security permissions within Tableau and OBIEE.
- Troubleshooting and Support:Respond to user queries and troubleshoot issues related to Tableau and OBIEE functionalities.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues of Linux (v7 and above) and Windows (v2019 and higher) on premise or cloud (AWS), escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution both Linux (v7 and above) and Windows
- Performance Optimization:Optimize Tableau and OBIEE configurations for maximum efficiency and performance.
Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning exercises as and when required.
Backup and Recovery:
Implement and manage backup and recovery processes for Tableau and OBIEE environments.
Ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive documentation of Tableau and OBIEE configurations, processes, procedures and FAQs.
Generate reports on system usage, performance metrics, and user activity.
- User Support:Provide technical guidance for best practices on Tableau and OBIEE to Business Analysts, BI Developers and users.
Resolve issues raised during user acceptance testing.
Evaluate potential technical solutions and make recommendations to resolve business problems.
- Collaboration:Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other IT teams to support integration and data requirements.
Participate in cross-functional projects related to business intelligence and data analytics.
Prepare technical design specifications based on the projects and change request assigned.
Conduct system integration testing and create test cases to ensure data quality prior to implementation.
Resolve issues raised during user acceptance testing.
Provide on-going support (24x7) to Tableau and OBIEE as and when required.
Requirements
- Fulltime Work from Office (WfO) due to the nature of accessing the systems to operate on.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Extensive exposure, i.e. three (3) to five (5) years’ experience, in the operations & maintenance, and use of both Tableau and OBIEE with ability to diagnose and troubleshoot errors.
- Extensive exposure, i.e. three (3) to five (5) years’ experience, to diagnose and troubleshoot errors in the operations & maintenance of Linux (v7 and above) and Windows (v2019 and higher) on premise or cloud (AWS).
- Strong SQL skills, i.e. Oracle, Databricks, Teradata, MS-SQL server databases.
- Thorough understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional design, and data lake-house.
- Experience in data modelling and design.
- Ability to manage users, vendors and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
- Exposure to Healthcare / Clinical systems is required.
- Perform production job support and track incidents to closure, especially on the batch job recovery and failures.
- Evaluate potential solutions relating to business intelligence and data warehouse and make recommendations to resolve business problems.
- Involvement in the system integration testing phase prior to implementation
- Liaise closely with vendors and project team members in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies.
