Responsibilities:
- Oversees and coordinates all engineering activities related to FPSO module fabrication projects at the yard, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and schedules.
- Develops and manages project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
- Provides technical support and guidance to the engineering team, contractors, and other stakeholders. Resolve technical issues and ensure engineering solutions are practical and cost-effective.
- Ensures all engineering work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high-quality standards.
- Works closely with project managers, construction teams, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Ensure proper documentation of changes and modifications.
- Promotes and enforces safety standards and practices within the engineering team and yard operations. Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity in engineering operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering/ Naval Architecture or related engineering disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FPSO module fabrication, yard operations, or related field. Previous experience in a coordination or supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of FPSO systems, module fabrication methods, and engineering principles. Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in engineering work and documentation.
