Scope:
-Develop & Design IC sockets and components
-Create & Modify drawings based on NBO/NTO using CAD (Solidworks, NX-Ideas)
-Measure IC sockets, parts and customer's packages
-Verify customer's package drawing to existing socket drawing
-Modify and assemble parts for IC socket prototypes
-Provide technical support for Sales Dept as needed
-Provide technical support to customer through phone, email and on-site work
-Liaise with vendors & productions on manufacturing issues
-Provide quality check for assembly and piece parts as needed
-Design required jig for quality check of assembly and piece parts
-Communicate on regular basis with other departments, management, customers, and assigned factory
-Perform FEA (Mechanical & Thermal), Signal Integrity simulation & Tolerance analysis with Solidworks, Ansys etc
-May required to attend offsite meeting, company group meeting, seminar, trade show, convention etc
-Prepare and present reports to internal Dept and customers.
-And other Ad-hoc duties as directed by the management
Requirements:
· Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering
· Math skill: Ability to productively work with numbers and accurately preform arithmetical, algebraic or geometric calculation
· Technical: Ability to understand, use and apply specific technical information related to the Company's products and services
· Analysis: Ability to perform critical or minute examination of fact or data to develop a hypothesis, theory or conclusion
· Accuracy: Ability to proceed accurate data and report with few mistake, low error rate
