Overview
BDO seeks a forward-thinking and seasoned Digital Leader to spearhead our digital transformation and advisory efforts, including the management and strategic oversight of the development of our AI strategy and execution across domains such as accounting, auditing, and tax services. In this leadership role, you will work with management to define the strategic Digital and Technology direction of BDO, and promote innovation and teamwork throughout BDO. Furthermore, you will serve as a key digital strategist to business units, aligning their technological pursuits with BDO's broader goals and digital agenda.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level direction for BDO's overall digital transformation, ensuring alignment with the business strategy and vision.
- Define and communicate the strategic vision, direction, and roadmap of BDO's digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead and oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of high-quality and innovative digital solutions that meet the needs and expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the digital transformation team and across BDO.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, vendors, and customers, ensuring alignment and integration of digital transformation objectives and activities.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and best practices that can enhance BDO's digital capabilities and competitive advantage.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the digital transformation team and other staff, fostering a learning environment and professional growth.
- Provide direction and guidance for any AI or GenAI initiatives, overseeing the design, development, and deployment of the solution.
- Act as a strategic digital advisor to business functions, providing insights and recommendations on how to leverage digital solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and value.
- Lead and mentor a team of talented and passionate engineers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers, ensuring a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, partners, and vendors.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in leading and managing complex and large-scale digital transformation projects, preferably in the accounting, auditing, or taxation domain.
- Proven track record of delivering innovative and impactful digital solutions, using artificial intelligence, or related technologies.
- Strong knowledge and experience in data architecture, data engineering, data analytics, and data quality.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking, with the ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.
- Passionate about learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in the digital domain.
