An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Trader to join the Asia Sugar team in Singapore.
We are seeking an experienced Sugar Trader to grow our presence in China. With strong numerical and business acumen, as well as a sound understanding of market dynamics, the Senior Trader will enhance networks of new and existing trading partners and contribute to our market research and trading strategy development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Trader will collaborate with Risk Management, Operation, Logistic and Finance teams to optimize profitability and ensure efficient execution of trading strategies and shipments. You will be expected to maintain a good relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement trading strategies and plans to grow sugar trade flows in China.
- Manage commercial, operational and financial matters to ensure smooth execution of trades and shipments.
- Pro-actively engage in process of risk management.
- Establish and maintain relationship with trading partners.
