The Senior International Product Manager is the marketing champion of the game, contributing to the overall project positioning, marketing and communication strategy and assets. The role has a major emphasis on management, creativity, communication, problem solving and mitigation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Oversee Marketing Deliverables
- Translate the positioning of the communications strategy into communications themes, artistic marketing directions, deliverables plans and initial deliverable production.
- Work with big data to create strategic recommendations for marketing communications.
- Perform competitive analysis & stay up to date with market trends.
- Pilot assigned event executions.
- Manage marketing deliverables plans, accounting for requests from operational teams, press opportunities, production constraints, production and any adjustments to the communications strategy; including trailers, community assets, in-game screenshots, in-game preview videos, in-game assets optimized for marketing use, as well as sales copy, PR-focused Q&As, and FAQs
- Help review & influence press releases and stage-gate presentations.
- Guide the creation of the deliverables with marketing agencies and artists by providing briefs and supervision.
- Approve deliverables to ensure both quality & product accuracy.
- Assess the performance of the deliverables by setting up tests for key deliverables (demo, trailer) and consulting buzz analysis tools for continued improvement.
- Provide feedback to the production team and inform members of upcoming deliverables.
- Participate in the definition of the live marketing strategy with the core development team.
Drive day-to-day Relations with Cross-functional Publishing Teams
- Act as one of the primary points of contact for the product, establishing strategic and technical expertise within assigned products.
- Navigate the internal processes and workflows of a variety of internal systems and teams.
Qualifications
- University or College degree/diploma in Interactive Media, Marketing, or Product Development / Management or MBA.
- Mid level product management in the game industry or in creative agencies.
- Great communication and presentation skills; fluent in English. Able to persuade and influence audiences and stakeholders across multiple functional groups.
- Proven abilities to identify, understand, prioritize, plan and articulate market & customer requirements.
- Strong analytic skills and experience with metrics driven decision making.
- A passionate, performance-driven individual with a strong business acumen.
- Leadership, ability to work as part of a team and establish relationships with other departments.
- Ability to adapt and to manage change.
- Results-oriented and customer focused.
- Avid video gamer.
- Experience in an international company or international role is a plus.
