Responsibilities
- Shipping Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping documents, including invoices and bills of lading, daily.
- Document Accuracy: Ensure all shipping documents are accurate, complete, and comply with industry regulations and company standards.
- Payment and Billing: Ensure accuracy in all payment and billing operations.
- Document Control: Maintain an organized document control system for easy retrieval and reference.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate delivery schedules and shipping arrangements with suppliers, customers, and service providers for timely transportation.
- Shipment Monitoring: Monitor shipments and track their progress to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Issue Resolution: Communicate with relevant parties to address discrepancies, handle delays, and proactively find solutions to shipping issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of Logistics experience - preferably handling import & export shipping documentation
- Proficient in Ms Office suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity in INCO terms and ERP systems would be advantageous
- Foundational knowledge in Trade Compliance is an added advantage
