Position: Technician (Electrical & Instrumentation)
Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with operation & mechanical team as part of the day-to-day maintenance activities and supporting plant operation to minimize downtime.
- Assist Engineers on installing, inspecting, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic equipment.
- Read and understand manuals, schematics, and P&ID's
- Basic knowledge on automated control systems (PLC)
- Target for incident free and reliable operations, including timely and proper maintenance of systems.
- To attend to all job requisitions, complaints, breakdown and as well as monthly preventive maintenance schedule to the relevant department.
- Ensure documentation and Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures are constantly updated.
- Ensure technical, environmental and safety aspects in all matters are in compliance with the HSE regulations.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a NITEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical & Instrumentation) or equivalent
- Sound working knowledge on major electrical system (eg. Transformers, Switchgears, motor, etc.), experience in Distributed Control System, Programmable Logic Controllers, with good understanding of the pneumatic and hydraulic control system.
Working Hours
- Mon - Sat 8.30am - 5.20pm
