Job title: Security Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures across our applications and infrastructure to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
- Develop and manage secure deployment pipelines, ensuring security is integrated into the build process from the ground up.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks in our systems and processes.
- Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement automation tools and processes to enhance security in deployment and build environments.
- Establish monitoring systems and respond to security incidents, ensuring quick resolution and analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, processes, and incident reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in security engineering, with a focus on implementation and deployment.
- Strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and technologies.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud security for platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Shell Scripting etc
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Comptia Security+ – Specialty are a plus.
