Why This Role Is Valuable
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial information and monitoring of day to day matters of the Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) owned by the Blackstone Real Estate Funds investing across Asia.

How You Add Value
(including but are not limited to)
Deal Onboarding:
- Work with team lead to keep track of deliverables for acquisition support (including co-ordination with various stakeholders, including legal advisors and sellers) and finance related handover documents
- Prepare acquisition funds flow through the deal structure
- Prepare summaries of key activities from acquisition documents
- Prepare closing cost & working capital schedule as part of deal acquisition
Deal Management:
- Support team lead in managing portfolio deals in accounting & reporting functions;
- Prepare/ Review funds capitalization file as per deal structure & tax requirements;
- Ensure timely approval of invoices on accounting system;
- Review monthly management accounts and financial reports for projects under your allocation;
- Review quarterly valuation deliverables to Blackstone i.e. NAV analysis, Debt valuation and Cash analysis;
- Review quarterly onshore NAV analysis and cash analysis prepared by onshore service provider/JV partners;
- Monitor liquidity and cash management on ongoing basis;
- Manage working capital and closing cost as part of quarterly reporting;
- Liaison with corporate secretary and legal advisors in finalizing corporate secretarial documents and legal documentation for all capital transactions;
- Review of funds transfer documents and ensuring all considerations are met (e.g., bank details, bank balances, negative interests, bank charges, cut-off timings);
- Coordination of funds transfer with RA Treasury to ensure smooth execution, including settlement of FX trades;
- Analyze cash flow requirement in each project and finalize distribution amount on a quarterly basis;
- Review solvency test and ensure compliance to legal requirements as part of distribution;
- Review and monitor ad-hoc capital movement through the deal structure;
- Prepare summaries for key financial transactions including review of JE bookings;
- Analyze quarterly NAV fluctuation for stakeholders;
- Review / perform intercompany reconciliation with JV Partners/Platforms/ Service providers;
- Manage external debt financing linked to the project: Loan drawdown, interest service, loan repayment, and loan covenant compliance;
- Review financial statements of entities under your allocation;
- Review allocation of fair market valuation for each entity / deal on quarterly basis.
Deal Disposition & Liquidation:
- Support team lead in asset disposition activities such as preparation of funds flow and tax review coordination
- Prepare working capital schedule for entities under liquidation
Tax Compliance
- Provide support to RA tax team in ensuring all tax reporting requirement deliverables and supports are provided on time;
- Assist RA tax team in responding to queries from tax agents on financial related matters
Other Responsibilities
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for all financial reporting processes;
- Liaison with back-end (COE) teams and Blackstone finance teams across Asia;
- Liaison with 3rd party onshore service providers / JV partners;
- Ad hoc project
What You Bring To The Role
- 3-4 years’ + experience in a relevant industry
- Chartered Accountant
- Bachelors (or equivalent) in Finance/ Accounting/ Economics
- Working knowledge of Private Equity/Real Estate and Fund Administration experience preferred
- Fluent in English
- Relationship management experience, to influence diverse stakeholders across regions
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building skills
