Loans & Structured Credit SEA is a part of Global Financing & Credit Trading, Asia that covers a wide range of financing transactions for SE Asia corporate clients, including private credit and corporate loans, across senior and mezzanine parts of the capital structure.

Your key responsibilities:
- Pricing financing transactions in Foreign Currency (USD, EUR, JPY, etc) and Local Currency (INR) including senior loans, mezzanine loans, operating company financing, holding company financings, bridge loans in India
- Take underwriting risk for such transactions with a view to distribute the loans to achieve an agreed final hold. Prepare liquidity analysis and internal underwriting memos for getting credit approvals.
- Given most banks, credit funds and insurance investors for Indian financings are based in South East Asia and North Asia region, the candidate should meet them on a regular basis on specific deals and even on non-deal basis. Direct relationships with such investors is expected.
- Coordinate with sales team to ensure timely launch and closing of syndication
- To coordinate secondary selldown of loan positions to achieve final agreed hold position
Your skills and experience:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least 10 years with an international bank doing loan business as part of origination and syndication teams focusing on India business.
- Experience of independently running syndication process for at least 2 years.
- Having direct contact with potential participating banks both with syndicate teams and corporate banking teams.
- Commercial focus, ability to take initiatives, and skills to solve complex business problems
- Ability to articulate ideas confidently and concisely.
