Numerix is looking to hire a VP Sales and Business Development, who will be a senior member on the APAC Sales team covering Australia, Thailand and Vietnam. Direct Sales at Numerix is responsible for growing ARR by landing new name logos as well as upselling / cross selling a set of named existing accounts in the territory. Business Development at Numerix is responsible for leveraging on the partnership channel and alliances to scale the business in the said territories. This role is perfect for someone who is a fearless and strategic seller, who can effortlessly engage with CXOs at large financial institutions and key stakeholders in consulting and technology companies and excels at negotiating commercial agreements for growth short, medium, and long term.
The role will be based out of our Singapore office.
Job Descriptions:
You will support the regional Sales Managing Director, in the direct sales effort within the region through face-to-face clients introductions, presentations, and demonstrations. The role is an integral part of the sales process where the candidate will work seamlessly alongside the Sales Managing Director in generation of revenue from Numerix’s various product lines. In addition, you will support the regional Managing Director in the business development effort within the region through face-to-face meetings with strategic partners and alliances to scale the business. The role involves both selling and business development activities as well as core involvement with the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, pipeline development and sustainability and focusing on the successful growth of Numerix’s Pricing and Risk solutions in Australia, Thailand and Vietnam across its client segments, principally but not limited to Banks, Securities Companies, Insurance Companies, Investment Management, Asset Owners, Asset Servicers, Financial Institutions and Corporates.
Key Job Experiences:
· 10+ Years of Experiences in Trading and Risk Technology Vendors Space or Capital Markets’ Front Office / Derivatives Trading Departments.
· 10+ Years of Experiences in Consulting and Advisory space.
