Job Title: Procurement Executive
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Procurement Executive to join our team and coordinate closely with the Barcelona office. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting suitable core suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing through effective negotiation, and managing supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Selection: Evaluate and select suitable suppliers from our pre-sourced core supplier list, ensuring they meet quality and cost requirements.
- Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and terms, maintaining a balance between cost, quality, and reliability.
- Liaison with Barcelona Office: Conduct regular meetings with the Barcelona office to align procurement activities and address any issues or requirements. Meetings typically start from 4 pm (SGT) onwards.
- Flexible Working Hours: Adapt work hours flexibly on days with Barcelona meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- CAD Proficiency: Interpret CAD drawings to accurately identify and source appropriate suppliers for specific components and materials.
- Material Knowledge: Understand the differences between various grades of materials to make informed procurement decisions.
- Supplier Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor their performance, and address any issues to ensure a consistent supply chain.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to evaluate supplier quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and reports.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD drawings is essential.
- Material Knowledge: Strong understanding of different material grades and their applications.
