Responsibilities
Warehouse Supervisor (General) in daily operational activities:
- Picking, packing, loading, and unloading activities.
- Planning delivery routes and preparing items for both customer deliveries and collections
- Ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, by supervising and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Developing warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements and inventory management.
- Overseeing daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Managing any other miscellaneous tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse management experience.
- Understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Proficient computer skills and familiar with WMS.
- Able to move loads and carton boxes of up to 20KG.
- Candidates possessing Higher Nitec / Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and/or Class 3 license to do deliveries when required have a competitive edge.
