The Team:
The Finance team is responsible for the accounting, tax and treasury functions of the Singapore entities within Straits Financial Group. This position reports to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily customer/broker segregation and risk-based capital report
- Handle full set of accounts and month-end closing
- Assist in preparation of tax computation
- Liaise with auditors on annual audits
- Assist in drafting of annual financial statements and XBRL submission
- Prepare quarterly GST/VAT reports and MAS reports
- Assist in projects and adhoc requests by Finance Manager/ CFO
Requirements
You should possess the following:
- Possess Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification with 5 years of related experience
- Meticulous, organised, good working attitude and willing to learn
- Committed, able to excel well under pressure and possess strong sense of urgency and responsibility
- Proficient in MS Office application
