We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. Job description
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Qualifications
Job responsibilities
- Help to develop a thriving external developer community in Southeast Asia. Lead strategies and innovation to help us build a relevant, engaged and well informed developer ecosystem building on Google products and API's in Southeast Asia and possibly beyond.
- Lead online and offline outreach and support programs in the region, including large-scale Google developer events.
- Manage relationships with, and help foster the creation of local developer communities. Create opportunities to meet with local developers and businesses to promote adoption and best practice use of Google developer technologies.
- Become an active Googler in the regional tech community, including speaking at Google developer events, speaking at third-party events and actively engaging with regional governments, universities, and business/startup groups.
- Grow our developer advocacy programs for Google’s AI and GenAI products including Gemma, Gemini, Vertex AI etc
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience with Google’s developer products and programs and how they can benefit the wider developer or startup community.
- Ability to speak and write English fluently.
- Ability to travel internationally.
Preferred qualifications
- Leadership experience and connections/relationships in technical/developer/business communities in Southeast Asia.
- Effective project and program management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Passion or hands-on experience in using Google’s developer tools & platforms, including Google’s AI and GenAI developer products.
