About The Role:
- To lead the Information & Inspection Unit under the Group Toll Operations Division.
- To oversees the monitoring, management and reporting of the Group’s traffic and toll collection/revenue data.
- Responsible for supporting the Head of Group in the strategic management and oversight of the centralized I&I function, with a focus on data analysis, review and reporting to ensure the accuracy and integrity of toll collection/revenue data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Information & Inspection (I&I) Unit to align with division and organizational goals, ensuring efficient toll revenue collection and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with the Head of Group Toll Operations (GTO) to develop and implement strategic plans for the division and oversee the implementation of divisional goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Assist the Head of GTO in managing the GTO division and lead a high-performing team to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Information & Inspection Management:
- Oversee the daily management and operations of toll collection systems, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to established processes.
- Manage the monitoring, analysis, and reconciliation of traffic and toll revenue data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
- Collaborate with IT and external partners to maintain data accuracy within tolling systems and lead the development of comprehensive reports on toll revenue and payment methods.
- Technology Integration:
- Work with the Group IT team and other relevant parties to integrate data analytics tools and technologies, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the I&I Unit.
- Budget Management:
- Assist in developing and managing the budget for the I&I Unit, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability. Monitor financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue generation.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Develop and continuously improve inspection procedures to ensure the accuracy of toll collection and traffic data in compliance with the "Arahan Pengurusan Sistem Tol (APST)" and LLM requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulatory bodies to address compliance concerns and adapt to changing requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate positive relationships with internal stakeholders, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and vendors to facilitate collaboration and address any concerns.
- Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Management, Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience in Management or related field (working experience in the tolling operations / highway / road infrastructure industry).
- Familiarity with TnG and Open Payment Systems as well as LLM requirements.
- Good communication skills in English and Malay (both spoken and written).
