Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customer and in-house Design engineering team to evaluate new designs as part of product life cycle.
- Ensure tool assembly completion and final testing are met within project timeline
- Perform day-to-day physical hands-on on parts, modules assembly until completion of whole system build-up
- Work closely with cross-functional team to resolve any diverse and complex issues found during the build
- Require to carry out individual module checkout testing prior to system integration
- Require to carry out final customer acceptance testing at complete system level prior to shipment.
- Require to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies found during testing activity
- Ensuring all manufacturing test data are within customer specification and recorded it accurately in a timely manner
- Perform software and hardware interaction, troubleshooting, and provide feedback to the customer or in-house design engineering team
- Train technicians and new employees on product platforms
- Provide mentorship or advice to technicians in daily troubleshooting effort
- Collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineers to resolve and determine the root cause (CAPA) for any out-of-box quality feedback by customers
- Support manufacturing engineer for new product introduction and transition new products to operation
- Ensure tools shipped are of high-quality standard and timely to our customer
- Review and respond to any technical queries arise from suppliers
- Understand BOM structure, ECR/ ECO process and able to implement it accurately, timely and cost-effectively.
- Review and generate manufacturing process flow and work instructions.
- Suggest and implement changes in a manufacturing environment, facilities, and equipment to increase the efficiency of operations
- Ability to amendment drawing and drafting using Autocad/Solidworks
- Ability to redline any issues found in the drawing during the build and work closely with the customer or in-house design engineer to resolve the problems
- Ability to conduct MRB to review any non-conformance parts whether to disposition or any rework
- Participate in continuous improvement, ISO9001:2015 certification, cycle time reduction and 6S house keeping
- Any others duties assigned by his/her superior / Manager.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline and 3 years of experience working with and troubleshooting complex electromechanical system (OEM).
- Able to understand mechanical and assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and Bills of Materials.
