We are helping our client to look for an experienced Product Owner to join their Transformation Team. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between business requirements and the IT department, ensuring smooth communication and successful project execution. The Product Owner will support Transformation Team members in managing multiple projects and associated activities. You will be responsible for capturing detailed user stories and requirements from business users, and effectively communicating these to the IT and development teams. Additionally, you will assist the Head of Business Transformation with overall program management, ensuring timely execution across various project streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate and enforce best SCRUM practices within the Transformation Team.
- Capture and document requirements and user stories from business stakeholders effectively.
- Communicate business requirements clearly to the IT and development teams, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards prior to deployment.
- Gain a deep understanding of the interdependencies between various business processes, workflows, and requirements to drive the successful implementation of functional, process, and product initiatives during each transformation stage.
- Prepare accurate project estimates and detailed plans for each project phase, and when necessary, procure the resources needed to achieve project objectives within planned timeframes.
- Monitor and manage actual project hours against the budget, and communicate revised budgets when scope changes occur.
- Approach problem-solving creatively and analytically, leveraging proven methodologies.
- Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and stakeholder management while striving for excellence.
- Assist the Head of Business Transformation in delivering executive-level communication through weekly progress reports, proposals, requirement documentation, and presentations to both Transformation Team members and internal business stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working on complex agile SCRUM projects.
- At least 4 years of experience as a qualified SCRUM Product Owner on software projects.
- 1+ years of project management experience on software projects is preferred.
- Proven track record in managing transformation and process reengineering projects involving software (build/buy) technology components.
- Experience in holding team members accountable for deliverables and managing internal and external stakeholders, including third-party vendors, internal IT, and cross-functional departments.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects that bridge business and IT departments, with a focus on delivering defined business objectives and outcomes.
- Proven ability to lead project teams, build and motivate team members, and provide onsite leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of customer and user experience, as well as internal process and functional owner impact.
- Ability to work effectively in both vendor and client-facing roles, serving as the single point of contact for the Business Transformation Team on technical and business activities.
- Capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment, sometimes simultaneously.
- Experience in software implementation and running software development teams.
- Proficient in problem-solving, troubleshooting, project risk mitigation, and resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen ability to dissect and understand user needs.
- Patient, attentive, and skilled in managing relationships with all stakeholders, including internal team members.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
