Accounts assistants provide administrative support to Accounts Manager, undertaking clerical tasks such as filing, handling mail and basic bookkeeping.
He/She will be working directly under the supervision of Accounts Manager. Accounts assistants help to maintain the office and keep it running smoothly. Accounts assistants also deal with customers and external agencies.
Other duties and responsibilities of the job include:
- To handle full AR, AP & GL
- Prepare quarterly GST reconciliation for submission
- Reconcile monthly bank statement
· Generating monthly statement of accounts
· Liaising with customers for any outstanding payments
- Perform accounts payable function in preparation of payments to vendors
- Perform any other administrative/accounting duties as assigned
Pre-requisite
· Professional qualification in accounting, equivalent to diploma
· Minimum 12 months experience in accounting field
· Comfortable with excel and accounting software (Autocount experience would be an advantage)
