- Responsible for automobile painting and support for mechanical work, such as installation, fabrication, and repairs.
- Attend to ad hoc job at train and bus depots
- Responsible for personal and safety of others accordance to workplace and health safety act
- Applies protective coats of paint, varnish, lacquer, and/or other related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of steel/metal structures.
- Washes, scrapes, sands, torches, and/or smoothes interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing, lacquering or applying other related materials.
- Cleans equipment, paint mixing area, and work area.
- Operates sandblasters, spray equipment, other small power equipment and lifting equipment.
- Identification, safe handling, and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials and other hazardous materials.
- mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results.
- Applies paints, stains, surface preparatory materials, and undercoating materials to a variety of surfaces, as appropriate, and according to Materials Safety Data Sheets ensuring compliance with hazardous materials guidelines.
- Follows all required safety procedures.
