Role Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as temporary event staff for a one-day event. The primary responsibility will be to assist and manage Meta Quest headsets for event attendants. The role involves providing clear instructions to attendants, helping them wear and remove the headsets, and ensuring a smooth experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist event attendants with wearing and removing Meta Quest headsets.
- Provide clear and concise instructions to attendants on using the headsets.
- Ensure the headsets are managed safely and efficiently throughout the event.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour while interacting with event attendees.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey instructions clearly.
- Basic understanding or interest in VR technology (Meta Quest experience is a plus). No prior experience required.
- Ability to assist and guide event attendants in a calm and patient manner.
- Must be available for a 1-hour training session prior to the event and an 8-hour event shift on August 21, 2024.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Freelance professionals, Part-time students, Homemakers are welcome to apply.
Training:
A 1-hour training session will be provided before the event to familiarize you with the Meta Quest headsets and event procedures.
Compensation:
$13/hr - $15/hr based on role and responsibility. Minimum $60 per deployment. ($1500 in the job posting is indicative only)
