Our client, a leading quality food provider and wholesaler, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Purchasing Executive.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acquire goods, materials, components, or services in alignment with specified cost, quality, and delivery standards.
- Maintain a continuous supply of necessary goods and materials; inform of any supply issues that might impact business operations.
- Observe market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers.
- Investigate and assess opportunities for cost reduction.
- Implement innovative procurement processes to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers; identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Evaluate and review suppliers, conduct performance assessments to ensure contract compliance, and manage performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company guidelines, purchasing policies, and relevant regulations during supplier negotiations and contract awards.
- Create purchase orders based on final negotiations with chosen suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in Business, Supply Chain or any relevant disciplines
- Minimum 2 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing, preferably within the food industry.
- Possess negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills

- Location: West
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
- Salary: Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
