Role:
- Provide business administration support to the Commercial Department and Chartering Department.
- Assist in negotiating charter party agreements, contracts, fixing vessels and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Assist in negotiating terms and conditions of contracts with clients.
- Support sales and marketing efforts by identifying new clients and preparing proposals as well as staying updated on market trends and industry development.
- Prepare market analyses, reports, and presentations
- Assist in monitoring and managing trades and contracts
- Collaborate with commercial managers and team members to offer data-driven recommendations for effective decision-making
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime studies or related field.
- Experience in commercial roles within the maritime industry, preferably in shipbroking or chartering is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of commercial principles in shipping, including charter parties, freight rates and vessel operations.
- Honest and professional.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and responsible.
- Proficient with data.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
