Qualification:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy field or
- Diploma in Occupational Therapy field
Professional experience:
- Whilst no working experience in the field of pediatrics is necessary, some exposure to working with children will be beneficial.
General Duties in Pediatric Setting :
- Performing assessments on clients;
- Conducting individual and group occupational therapy sessions;
- Providing termly IEPs and reports on clients;
- Discussing client progress with parents/guardians and referral source;
- Participating in team meetings to discuss needs and intervention;
- Maintaining case files/records of patients seen;
- Conducting training sessions/talks/workshops for teachers, parents and patients;
- Participating in regular meetings with colleagues.
- Available to work on Saturdays
