The duties of a Healthcare Assistant are:
1. Assist non-ambulant and semi-ambulant residents with their toilet needs and mobility.
2. Bathe frail residents and those who need assistance in showering.
3. Shave and cut hair for residents regularly, and ensure their finger and toenails are trimmed once a week.
4. Supervise and assist residents in handwashing before each meal.
5. Refer residents' medical problems to the Duty PCO and nursing staff and accompany them to hospitals and polyclinics for their medical appointments.
6. Accompany residents for outings and briskwalk.
7. Serve food and drinks to residents at meal times and to wash their utensils after meals.
8. Clean and disinfect the residents' dormitories and general areas daily.
9. Perform any other duties as directed by the Home Management team and Duty Officers.
