Job Summary

The WRB Global Digital Sales team’s objective is to partner with country, product, and technology stakeholders to create programs, content and experiences that will support acquisition and engagement of prospects and customers through SC’s Digital Assets. With a customer centric approach, the team is focused on delivering on the customer intent through its acquisition and deepening strategies while driving profitable acquisitions for the business.
Through the initiative “Enhance Website Content to drive Digital Sales”, the team is looking to partner with markets to create tailored and localized content built on a foundation of data driven decisions to enhance users’ experience while optimizing for search engines.

Job Summary

As the Content Head, you will lead the content strategy for the WRB division ensuring that all digital content is engaging, customer-focused and optimized for search engines (SEO). You will oversee the creation, development and implementation of content across various channels to support the bank’s engagement and digital conversion goals.
Accountable for content optimization the Digital Content Lead is expected to work closely with Digital Banking, App & Web Management, Martech, SEO, Digital Marketing and Products teams to execute content optimization techniques which will drive measurable lift on digital engagement and conversion goals.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Content Gap Analysis: Identify missing content areas that are critical to drive engagement of customers and prospects to support the overall conversion metrics of SC’s digital assets. Analyse competitor websites to recommend content gaps and opportunities.
  • Define Content Goals: Establish content goals and measurement mechanisms using the martech infrastructure in each market.

Business

  • Content Inventory: Partner with the country stakeholders, product and SEO team to conduct a comprehensive review of all existing content on the website – categorizing by content type, topics and digital performance metrics.
  • Content Calendar & Project Management: Publish a content calendar outlining topics, keywords, publishing dates, responsible approvers etc. Plan and manage content projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Content Development & Personalized User Experience: Partner with SEO, Product and Program Managers to create high-quality, SEO friendly content with localized versions for different markets.
  • Content Partnerships and Editorials: Increase Trust and Authority of website through content partnerships and co-editorials.
  • Performance Monitoring: Partner with the SEO and Analytics teams to set up tracking metrics and dashboards to measure SEO Improvements, Traffic Metrics, Conversion rates etc.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in content roles and proven experience in content leadership roles, preferably in Wealth, Banking or Financial Services industry
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Excellent writing, editing and proof reading skills
  • Experience with content management systems and analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SEM Rush
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively with strong project management skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • The role requires proven leadership, outstanding stakeholder management and in-depth technical knowledge of web and mobile platforms, SEO, Content Management systems, Web and Mobile Analytics, usability, heatmaps and dynamic content optimization techniques grounded on strong testing methodologies. Strong knowledge of agile development as well as good understanding of test and learn programmes is a pre-requisite, with hands-on experience of using Adobe & Google Analytics. It entails significant complexity and scale in terms of designing, implementing and optimizing customer interactions, working closely with the Marketing, Analytics, IT, Segments, Products and Distribution on acquisition and cross sell campaigns.
