Overview:
- Responsible for overseeing the complete functionality of infrastructure and systems.
- Leads and manages teams of technicians, system engineers, and other IT personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient understanding of OSI & TCP/IP Network protocol architecture, including the benefits of layering, functions of various layers, switch and LAN design, and VLAN configurations.
- Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.
- Knowledgeable in routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and WAN transport technologies (Private/Leased Line, MPLS).
- Skilled in advanced network switching (VLAN, STP, VTP, HSRP).
- Strong grasp of network concepts such as 802.1x, STP, GRE, DMZ VPNs, and VLAN configurations.
- Experienced with switching, routing, and F5 Load Balancing.
- Capable of managing and troubleshooting Layer 7 firewalls (Cisco ASA, PIX).
- Proficient in configuring various types of VPN networks (Point to Point, GRE, SSL).
- Responsible for the management of security appliances and next-generation firewalls from vendors including Check Point, Cisco ASA, Juniper, Sophos-Cyberoam, and FortiGate.
- Hands-on experience in configuring URL filtering, file blocking, and security profiles on Palo Alto firewalls.
- Expertise in implementing firewall rules and managing Checkpoint on R65 & R75 on devices such as Nokia IP 390, Cisco PIX 515 E, Cisco ASA 5510 & 5520.
- Management of Citrix Netscaler and Access Gateway configurations.
- Competent in Cisco WAAS, wireless solutions, and IP management.
- Proficient in analyzing network traces to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as an IT Manager with system infrastructure with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows, Linux Server management, architecture, storage solutions, and backup systems.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude.
- Certification in Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
