Early Intervention Teacher

Responsibilities and Duties:
· Conduct Early intervention program in 1 to 1 and group settings
· Creating individualized lesson-planning, IEP, term progress report that provide learning opportunities in the children's daily routines and activities.
· Establishing standards of behaviour that promote student learning and responsible for the safety and well-being of all students
· Meet with parents and caregivers to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs
· Work in a multidisciplinary team (BCBA, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Educational Therapist) to develop and put in place education plans based on individual child's needs.
Prerequisites at the role level
· Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Psychology.
· Ability to interact and work well with young children
· Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
· Creative, fun-loving and energetic disposition
· Highly self-motivated, can work independently also in a team, strong sense of responsibility and keen to learn.
· Completely committed to the progress of every child in your charge
Experience:
Minimum 2 years or more of experience in teaching children with special needs (2-8years of age) in a group setting
