Unwine is a cozy wine bar located at IOI Central Boulevard Towers, offering a laid-back atmosphere ideal for enjoying a wide selection of wines and western fusion cuisine. You will be part of the Store Opening team where you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager.
In your role as the Chef De Cuisine at Unwine, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team entire operation which includes training and developing all kitchen staff and ensuring consistency in work performance.
- Supervise the function of outlet’s kitchen employees, facilities and costs
- Preparing and mastering of all menu items
- Planning and development of new menus and recipes
- Supervising, training and developing sous chefs and below and ensuring consistency in work performance
- Ensure quality control and presentation of food for the brand.
- Supervise and maintain food cost planned
- Work hand in hand with restaurant manager to ensure food quality consistency and achieving sales target
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Relevant Culinary School or College Diploma, preferred
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in the management culinary position, preferably in similar operations style as a wine bar serving Western fusion menu
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
- Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment
