We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Consultant who will work directly with senior technology executives, translating their business goals into actionable technology strategies, identifying constraints, and advising on effective solutions to ensure successful cloud transformation and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with C-suite executives and senior business leaders to understand their technology needs and desired outcomes.
- Translate business objectives into clear, achievable technology goals and strategies.
- Identify and address non-obvious constraints impacting technology decisions and outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive future state information systems architecture to guide implementation.
- Facilitate workshops and lead discussions to drive cloud adoption and transformation initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end cloud operations, including day 1 and day 2 maintenance, to ensure smooth transitions and ongoing success.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud technology, development, or network administration.
- Proven track record of working with senior business and technology leaders to develop vision architectures and link them to business outcomes and value propositions.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, VMware-based for Banking) and services.
- Proficiency in cloud architecture, cloud adoption, service management, automation, and cloud-native application development.
- Strong financial acumen in cloud financial management, including cost optimization and FinOps practices.
Top Skills Required:
- Cloud Expertise: Extensive knowledge and experience with cloud platforms and services. Understanding of cloud architecture, cloud adoption strategies, and service management.
- Warm Presence & Soft Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex cloud strategies to diverse stakeholders, inspire and lead teams, and navigate organizational structures and biases.
- Proficiency with Cloud Practices: Practical experience in running cloud practices, including day-to-day operations and maintenance, with a solid understanding of cloud transformation nuances.
