Job Description
- Assisting the Head Chef to manage the daily operations in the kitchen
- Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Ensuring consistency in quality and portion size moving dishes
- Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock
- Ensure stock levels are maintained and minimize waste
- Prepare and cook menu items as per set standards
- Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary
- Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality food and efficient service
- Ensure all staff adhere to health and safety standards in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

- Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional cooking skills and creativity
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Proficiency in using cutting tools and cookware
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and food hygiene in accordance with SFA standard
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
